CAA Urges Vaccine Prioritization for Aviation Workers

CAA joined a coalition of aviation employers, employees and transportation organizations to support prioritization of aviation workers receive the COVID-19 vaccine. “Aviation workers are frontline workers who either encounter the traveling public frequently or are required to perform our work in close proximity to colleagues and perform jobs onsite”, as noted in the Coalition Letter sent to Governors across the country. Air cargo workers are delivering packages and needed vaccines across the U.S. every day. The prioritization of aviation frontline workers for allocation of the vaccine should be part of the Administration’s implementation plan.
