The Cargo Airline Association supports the latest actions by the Administration to ensure cargo operations can be safely maintained as 5G is rolled out across the United States. We know it is critical to find the appropriate, lasting solutions for 5G and aviation to co-exist both safely and effectively. The cargo supply chain continues to be vitally important to meet the diverse needs of commerce, communities, and consumers throughout the country and around the world. We must continue to deliver vital goods and equipment wherever urgently required during a crisis and through the ongoing supply chain challenges. Any disruptions to service, aircraft diversions, or cancellations would have a devastating impact on small and mid-sized businesses that rely on air cargo services, and consumers who depend on e-commerce throughout the pandemic. Alongside our industry partners, we urge the federal government to continue to work toward a reliable solution as the 5G rollout progresses, while ensuring all U.S. cargo hubs and networks maintain their current levels of operation to, from, and within the U.S.
