The Women in Aviation Advisory Board (WIAAB) issued its Congressionally mandated report detailing 55 recommendations and strategies aimed at DOT, FAA, Congress and industry, to improve the workplace culture, to collect better data and detailed steps to recruit, retain and advance women in aviation. Congress directed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to create and facilitate the Women in Aviation Advisory Board to promote organizations and programs that provide education, training, mentorship, outreach, and recruitment of women into the aviation industry.
