In December the Cargo Airline Association (CAA) and its member companies demonstrated the value of air cargo to consumers, communities and the entire country as the holiday season was in full swing. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg visited locations around the country showcasing the investment and recognition of the Administration in cargo operations and airports and the value air cargo brings to the world.
This month CAA also thanked Captain Houston Mills for serving as not only the CAA Board Chairman, but as an outstanding leader in the air cargo industry. Houston has served in many roles in his career, and one game-changing moment he led a history-defining mission for UPS, as he piloted one of the first vaccine-laden flights into UPS’s Worldport in Louisville. We look forward to continuing our work together in 2023 as you continue to serve and work alongside us on the CAA board of directors.
