Air Cargo Caucus
The bipartisan Air Cargo Caucus fosters an understanding of air cargo and the vital role air transport plays in our everyday lives while driving the global economy.
The Air Cargo Caucus was established in 2019 and recognizes the vital contributions of the air cargo industry to every congressional district and state. Air cargo accounts for 35 percent of the world trade value and employs millions of people nationwide. It is unmistakable: without air cargo, the 21st Century economy and way of life wouldn’t be what it is today.
Events the Caucus has held include issue briefings for Members and staff, facilitation of meetings with members of the air cargo community, and site visits to facilities nationwide that keep air cargo viable. The Air Cargo Caucus is an excellent venue for Members to become educated about the industry and the impact air cargo has on regions, states, and worldwide.

“There’s no doubt that the air cargo industry is a critical component of our local, state, and global economies. In Florida alone, the industry supports more than 625,000 jobs and creates over $4 billion in revenue. These numbers are only going to grow larger as our national and global economies expand, which is what makes the Air Cargo Caucus so important”
